How to send money by username in Worldwide Wallet
Inside Worldwide Wallet you do not need a wallet address to pay a friend. Every user can pick a username, and money moves between usernames instantly, with no fee, no matter where the sender and the recipient live.
Picking a username
Open Send and choose a username: 3 to 20 characters, lowercase letters, digits and underscore. The app checks availability as you type. You can change the username once every 30 days, so choose one you are happy to share.
Sending a transfer
- Enter the recipient's username. The app shows their display name so you can confirm you have the right person.
- Enter the amount in USDT and an optional comment.
- Review the summary: recipient, amount, fee (zero) and total.
- Confirm with the code we email you. The transfer is executed immediately and the recipient sees the money at once.
Limits and rules
- Minimum transfer: 1 USDT.
- Daily limit: 1 000 USDT per sender.
- Transfers are final. Once executed they cannot be reversed, so check the username before confirming.
- A verified email address is required, because every transfer is confirmed with a code.
Why an email code every time
The code is the second factor for anything that moves money out of your account. Even if someone gets hold of your phone or session, they cannot send a transfer without access to your mailbox. It takes a few seconds and keeps your balance yours.
